Hopefully todays 6-8" of snow are it for the season. Our appointment to get Monty's wheel bearings packed today was put off because Monty does not do slushy, deep snow. It should clear up and bring us some warming sun for the rest of the week (I hope, I hope!) We are slated to leave a week from Wednesday. The birds were very happy to see that our feeder was full of seed. This Red Northern Cardinal was staying deep in the feeder, on and off, for much of the day - along with a jillion happy finches. Their natural food was covered with wet snow.
