Today was tourist day again. I love these kinds of days! We went to near the top of Mt. Casper and saw antelopes both on the way up and on the way down. The road is two lane and many areas with no guard rail along the "down" side. Breathtaking views, though. Mt. Casper looks over the high plaines area. We then went to Fort Casper and immersed ourselves in early American history again. We must return here so that we can take our time and dig into the Oregon, Morman and California Trails and the Pony Express route. While having dinner, we saw clouds raining over the mountain and when we got back into town there were spotty areas with rain on the ground. The sun leapt back into the picture, though, as it always seems to do here. It is brisk, though. Windy and about 53. Fine day for touristing!
