We are now home and apparently not soon enough for the hummingbirds. We always have fed the hummers and they have given us much enjoyment through our front window. Since we have been traveling this spring, we have not fed them. Much to our surprise this morning, the hummers have been perching on our empty suet basket on the front porch waiting to be fed. Since we will be here for a while, now, we must keep our birds happy so it is time to make some sugar water for our vagabond friends. There is even a hungry dove in the background waiting for the sunflower seeds to be put out for the cardinals.
