September 2, 2007 Gordonsville, VA

Today was another great day. When we woke this morning, the sun was rising and there was mist in the ridges. We had a beautiful view out of our dining room window of the horse pasture and the mists hanging near the Blue Ridge Mountains. The temperatures were in the mid 50s upon rising and ended up around 80, low humidity, slight breeze, sun shining, so we decided to stay close to home in Monty. Sis and bro came over and spent the day. The day was filled with conversation - my idea of a great time. Did some minor maintenance on Monty and ate a WONDERFUL dinner put together by Carol. We once again killed our diets by going to McDonalds for an ice cream cone. We also researched more about the area in the Civil War. Hope to put together a disc of Michigan Units in the Civil War with some photos taken at Gettysburg. One of our Kalamazoo darlin's wants some info about this area so we will try to oblige.
